We recently sat down with our Junior Designer, Megan Whitehurst to find out a little more about her role, her past experience and a few things about her life outside of work.
What is your role?
As a Junior Designer, I support the creative team by assisting with design tasks, developing visual concepts, and helping bring ideas to life across different media, all while learning and growing within the role.
What’s your background/experience?
I brought five years of design agency experience with me when I joined Creed in November 2023, stepping into the employer brand world for the first time. Previously, I worked at a small but mighty design and communications agency, specialising in the not-for-profit sector, where I was part of a talented team of inspiring women. I joined Creed not only in search of a fresh and exciting challenge but also because I wanted to be part of a bigger team — and it’s definitely delivered on both!
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I love the variety my role brings — no two days are the same, and I get to work on a wide range of clients and projects which keeps things exciting. I also really enjoy collaborating with different members of the Creed team across various briefs.
What is your passion? In or outside of work
Cooking and baking have always been a passion of mine. My mum taught me from a young age, and I’ve never stopped since. For me, food is a way of showing love and appreciation —I find real joy in cooking for friends and family and seeing them enjoy what I’ve made is one of the best feelings.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I’m a leap-year baby — technically just seven and a quarter years old! It’s my built-in excuse for eternal youth… and maybe living forever.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, you’ll usually find me reading, cooking, baking, or off on adventures with my husband Jamie and our dog Bruno.
