In 2019, Adevinta – Europe’s digital marketplace leader – evolved from Schibsted with a powerful mission: to connect people to the things they love. With brands like France’s leboncoin and Germany’s mobile.de, they were ready to shake up the world of commerce. But they realised they were missing something big – a compelling Employer Brand.

Their existing brand focused on investors and not the talent they wanted to attract. As their business grew, they knew they needed a compelling message for a global tech audience. Something that would both stand out and engage the very best tale.

Our Approach

We dove into research, jetting off to their Barcelona HQ to talk with employees and stakeholders in focus groups and leadership sessions. With robust research under our belt, we could craft their message – “Changing Commerce Together”.

This message united their mission and shouted their values. It was the beacon for all tech-savvy professionals , pointing them to an employer that wanted to succeed with them.

We held an internal launch day to get their new Employer Brand on its feet. For all five EU hubs, we packed this talent day with games, workshops, and lots of Adevinta swag. We also introduced “Bytes” sessions – workshops that empowered employees to become brand ambassadors.
